Question

Blue Ray Player P1400 XAA

by CAW328 / March 22, 2015 2:08 AM PDT

Probably not new, but this player is not playing new bluRay disc's that we buy, especially the ones that say digital also, but not limited to that. It never loads and the new trick is to turn the TV off or maybe go to a white screen. No issues with some BluRay discs or DVD's.vWhat to do?

Always call these failed titles in.

There are many prior discussions about how BluRay firmware needs updates as the studios change copy protection. Since only the maker can issue new firmware you call failed titles in to ask when these will play.

Hello Caw,
Bob is right first step would be making sure that the firmware on your unit is completely up to date. If it's still working with some DVDs and Blu-rays, but not others, please reach out to us through e-mail via this thread with the movie titles that's having the issues so we can check into this further. http://forums.cnet.com/7723-13973_102-542437/service-issues-click-here-for-help/
