by tonyjburns / October 17, 2006 10:43 AM PDT

I have Blue Dots on my one year old Pioneer PDP-S38 Plasma. What is it? Can it be fixed? I have warranty will it be covered?

Only they can tell you.

Are they always there? or does the tv have to warm-up?

Are they showing up on diffrent inputs (HDMI, S-line & component)?

Are the dots 'fixed' or they pop-up here & there go away & pop-up somewhere else?

Are you getting 120 volts, my TV got purple when it dropped below 115volt. (I got a voltage stablizer & it took care of that).

For warranty you would have to call them.

Good luck

They are always there and they show up on all inputs. Seems worse on HD stations. I have a stabilizer. I am checking with Best Buy to get more details. Thanks for the response

are you sure the model number is PDP-S38 ?
by masterying01 / October 17, 2006 12:52 PM PDT

cause that is a model number to the detachable side mounted speakers on some pioneer models.
