Blu Ray on VGA monitor

I am currently using two monitors on my desktop one of which is using a dvi connector and the other using vga to dvi connector. I was wondering if I am able to clone my first monitor so I can run a blu ray movie on both screens at the same time.

In theory yes.

But it's only a theory since we don't know if your video card, driver and OS has this feature. Also there is a possibility the DRM (see google) can kick in and disallow this.

i have a 8800gt video card, vista ultimate 32bit OS, and a hdcp compilant monitor. that should playback blu ray right?

Yes... but notice the HDCP?

The BR software I know of will only play on one HDCP interface at a time. Ouch.

ill stick with regular dvd's for another year.
