Question

Blu-Ray disk player issue

Apr 19, 2016 1:05AM PDT

Good morning everyone,
I'm writing to ask you about my problem with Samsung BD player.

I'm often burning DVDs and BDs with my iMac and Toast App for my customers and more then once who has Samsung players can't read them. Last one has all the famnily with Samsung player and nobody can watch it. She did try to open it on a laptop and she confirmed it's working on it but she open it as data BD with folders and all, not as a normal "insert and play" disk. I've tried to find solutions on the web but without any clue of what to do.

I didn't change any standard settings in Toast App for the burning.

Any idea or suggestion about it?

Thanks in advance.

This is all true.

Not all players will play recorded media no matter what we change in settings.

If you want to pursue this, remember this is a topic of 1000's of prior discussions. Some players just won't play recorded media.

RE: Playback Security

There are certain security clearances in coding that need to be in set in the discs for proper playback. The security settings are in place to prevent pirating of films.
