Blocking software needed HELP

can somebody help me w/ software info to block My Space, MSN messenger and possibly other web sites....PLEASE

Do you have a router?

My router lets me put those in the router's block list.

not sure how to answer this..basement computer cable connected w/ older wireless router linksys...upstairs computer is wireless w/ built in

You'll have to check your router's manual to see if url blocking is supported.

But most routers do this.
