Although the Blockbuster online service has a ta for games, it is very confusing. they are really only advertising their "Gamerush" (store within BB store) service of unlimited rentals for a flat monthly fee. but you have to go into the store to exchange the game...
Have you heard of or tried http://www.gamefly.com/ ?
they are just like Netflix for games.
We just cancelled our membership to Blockbuster online. I found their site not very informative about how things worked. My son (14, he thinks all his assumptions are always correct) was sure that the membership included video games as well as DVDs. I emailed Blockbuster to ask about it, but they apparently don't answer emails from people who are not yet members (I sent them 2 emails with questions about membership). So, once we joined, all we could put in our queue were DVDs. Now I see their site lists a membership to a thing called Game Pass, which looks like a separate membership just for games.
My question, which I can't find answered on the site, is this: do you get a discount on membership if you join both the game pass part and the one where you rent DVDs? Also, does anyone know if the same shipping centers service both types of memberships?
I found out our nearest Blockbuster shipping center was further away than Netflix, adding a day or two to each end of the shipping process. We were members for 6 weeks and returned our movies promptly and only rented 4 movies. Not worth it, IMO. There are Blockbuster stores close enough to drive to but they aren't the same as the shipping centers, for some reason.
If anyone can tell me anything about the Blockbuster game pass service, I'd appreciate it.
