Blizzard Entertainment Starcraft is a SCAM

Sep 21, 2011 12:31PM PDT

I am so disappointed! It is certainly a misleading consumer strategy the one Blizzard currently has.

With Starcraft 2 - what are the Authentication Key and the DVD worth for? I paid for a copy that now can be downloaded for free!!! My Standard Edition is of no use now, because you actually have to continue paying if you want to continue playing --even the single player campaign! I seriously never thought to get this scam from Blizzard.Where can I get my money back? how can I file a serious complaint? I DON'T THINK I WILL BE BUYING A PRODUCT FROM YOU GUYS EVER AGAIN, after being a fan of the original Starcraft for years.

You Guys?

You brought this game from CNET? I don't believe CNET sells software.

Other than that I am having a hard time understanding your post. You purchased Starcraft 2 and now it is being offered free? What is Standard Edition?

You say you want to complain. Have you tried their Support page?

Or perhaps their Online Forums?

I don't think CNET is the proper place to post complaints.

I see you have posted the same complaint as a comment in this Crave Article.

Of course you need to keep paying. It is their product and they can do what they want. It is like World of Warcraft. In order to play, you need to pay.
