blinking light from behind TV while TV is off

Last night after we had turned off our bedroom TV (Samsung UN32EH4050F) and had been asleep for a while, my wife noticed a glowing from behind the TV that was blinking. We usually see a very light glow (it's in an enclosure) but never the blinking. It stopped after 20-30 minutes. I probably should have got up and looked but I was just too tired. Should we be concerned?

Some ethernet ports have a light like that.

Bob is right, more than likely what you saw was the Ethernet port. When you power off the television and go into a standby state, if you have the automatic update on, it will sometimes do the update after the unit is powered off. There should be no need for concern.
