Blank spam messages...

Nov 2, 2005 9:26AM PST

Hi...I was wondering if anyone else has been getting these and if you found a solution how to stop them.......It started a few weeks ago, I started getting spammed with blank emails, no address, no message, no nothing just blank...I use cloudmark to scan my emails but it doesn't/won't catch it, also when I use my block sender feature it gives me an error message saying it can't be blocked and I can't create a new rule for it... I would hate to change my email address...Anyone have this problem or know how to stop it?...Windows XP home--Outlook Express 6--SP-2...thank you

Rad, I Simply Delete Them...
Nov 2, 2005 11:44AM PST

I've got 4 or 5 e-mail addresses and they get very little spam because all my ISP's (I use 4 different ISPs) have "Junk Mail" folders that allow me to limit which messages I receive..Two of them have the ability to stop ALL mail except for mail received from addresses in my address book.

In addition, each mail I use has an option to access messages using a webmail option instead of simply downloading it in Outlook Express or Outlook. It's easy to delete all messages from the webmail page..Simply "Select All", then UNCHECK those items I still want to receive, then delete.

Hope this helps.

Blank spam messages...

I get those things every so often.

Blank address/header.

I've never tried to open one to see if the message was blank.

They show up in deleted items (msg rule) and when I close OE deleted items is emptied.(option)

So bottom line...minor annoyance.
