Question

Blank screen

Sep 19, 2016 8:54PM PDT

I got a secondhand Toshiba 40L1400UC that I just hooked up to my tower. The screen had randomly gone blank, but now after the logo fades out, the screen goes blank. I've looked all over the net but haven't found any feasible solutions. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The display on the monitor doesn't show anything after the logo no matter what buttons I press. The computer is fine: it emits sound (through an external audio interface) as response to blind action (either clicking the mouse/keyboard or attaching/removing peripherals).

Since it's not showing the menu

And no buttons on the TV do a thing (except power?) that means it's not a PC or PC setting issue.

Get estimates for the TV's repair.
