BLANK Pocket PC - iPQ 3835

by atulchoudhary / February 18, 2005 4:53 AM PST

My Pocket PC - Compaq iPaq 3835 was without charge for long time. It has become BLANK now. Lost everything, even the Wondows (mobile) on it and all other appllications. I have no back up!?
Now when I put it to charger it jst shows iPAQ RED logo, nothing else.
When I had purchased this 2 years back, it came only with CD for PC synch utility/ driver etc. No Windows or other pocket PC applications on CD.

1) How can I fix this? How to restore the Windows and other applications on it.?
2) Can I put some other OS on it now? palm etc.
PLEASE HELP !

You looked around the back for a RESET pinhole and used that.

Yes, I did. Actully for my model it is at the bottom.
I used that along with RESET key - which makes 'Hard Reset' - but the same Red screen remains....

Any HELP?

Try http://pdaparts.com/

There's only a few that do this work or have the parts at some fraction of mothers.
