However if your CDRW drive doesn't work with them, you may have to use this on another machine.

I have two 50pk spindles of blank cd's that I got in an auction with others I purchased. These two particular spindles have no markings at all on them and I do not know what type they are. I tried to burn music to them and it kept telling me to insert blank cd so they must not be recognized. Is there a way to find out what type they are? There are no markings on them at all to be able to tell. If I can't find out what they are I will donate them to the local school for craft projects. Thanks for any help.

Bob,
Thank you for your help. I did as you suggested and found out they are dvd+r/rw. That is nice to know and of much more use to me.
Don't know what I would do without this site.
Thanks again,
Cheri
