On one laptop when it logs on to the wireless network the connection icon in the systrm tray says it is connected to "ANY" rather than showing the actual access point ID. Also when selecting to view availabe wireless networks, none are shown.
On a second laptop the connection icon shows the ID of the WAP and the wireless networks are shown correctly.
Both are HP laptops running XP SP2.
Any ideas how to get the first laptop to show the wireless IDs?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
