Installing something to temporary location if you want to use it permanently doesn't seem like a good idea indeed.
Having it reset (if there is no way to do it yourself) seems the only solution.
I have a Blackpoint 40" SMART LED TV, model BP40SMT, for about 2 years now but about a week ago tried download Showbox & Mobdro using the Opera TV browser. I was allowed to download Showbox to file location "tmp" but not before it had paused indicating that memory was low& i needed to delete the browser history, which i did in order to continue download.
I then started to download Mobdro, but were trying other file locations such as Customer & Customer Backup which started to accept download but then stopped and gave a "cannot download" error. I tried downloading Mobdro at file location "tmp" also which was successful.
After the downloads, I could not find the executable files to install the apps, so I rebooted the TV.
The TV turns on, shows the Blackpoint logo brand, disappears to a dark screen which stays for about 10 seconds, then the TV turns off before the menu screen comes up. This keeps on happening whenever I turn on the TV. It doesn't goes past the logo screen.
What can I do to solve this? I was told that it may need to be wiped or factory reset.
