Blackberry Storm video - cannot view

by nancyd728 / March 1, 2009 2:03 PM PST

I have a new Storm and used the video function - when I try to playback, it says it's loading, but then states "the media being played is of an unsupported format." What is that?? It shows the files there, but I can't figure this out - any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your help - to be honest, I'm not much of a blackberry techie, therefore don't know what format - I just entered into the video section of the phone and started taping - it was blinking as if it was taping and the files show, but I cannot view them...?

I have the same problem on a BB storm.
The issue is that the BB cannot even play the video that it is taking.
You should not have to transfer the video to another program and convert it.
It is the same thing as having a camcorder, taping a video and not being able to play it back. Would you be happy with that?
If the feature is on the phone, it should work.

The last I heard about the issues, is that the only thing that will fix it is a software update of the blackberry. Since the problem occurs on the version 4.7.0.75 (the latest version) we have to wait for an update to be available. I read on some blackberry forums that one should come out by the end of march 2009.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
