BlackBerry's innovative keyboard design was stolen by Typo?

Instead of developing its own keyboard design, Typo chose to copy BlackBerry's innovative style and design, including the keyboard layout and the surface shaping of the keys. This piece of news from The New York Times may invoke people's reflection.
Currently similar products virtually are not fresh things no matter in technology world or other areas.

Good artists copy
Nov 12, 2014 2:27AM PST

But great artists steal. This stuff has happened throughout tech history. Apple stole Xerox's graphical interface technology and improved upon it. But when companies like Typo just copy the technology it's blatant theft without innovation. BB should sue.
