Resolved Question

Black Screen...Phone on. Please help.

by rachelvoigt98 / June 1, 2015 1:45 AM PDT

I woke up this morning, took my phone off the charger, and my screen is black. The green charging led is still on, even though my phone is now off the charger. I cant turn the phone off (make the led turn off). I'm not sure what to do. Normally, I'd remove the battery and put it back but obviously this isn't an option with the s6. Sad

Ive tried rebooting the phone by holding down the power button for an extended period of time, but no luck. I really hope you can help mee.

There are about a dozen S6's out there so try it without any memory and/or SIM card. The power button down looks to be a few minutes. I use a rubber band then leave it to make some tea.

If that fails it's back to the service counter for an in warranty repair.

Thanks for your quick reply. However I figured it out. I had been trying to access the boot menu by holding the power key and the volume up button. when all the while I should have been holding the volume down button. *facepalm*

once I got to the boot menu I selected normal boot and all is well.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
