You said nothing happens. By that do you mean that F1 and F2 don't work either? It matters since some Dells need the BIOS just so to list the hard disks. But your post is too light on details (no exact model number) or what hard drive model and connection as well as what OS was running.

Hello. I have a Dell desktop and when I turn the power on it says that primary and secondary drives not found. It gives me the options of F1 or F2. Nothing works. Just goes back to this screen. Does anyone have a clue as to what is wrong. Thanks a bunch.
