Black Screen

Jul 26, 2010 4:19AM PDT

I changed the resolution, my monitor doesn't support. All I get when I boot up is a black screen. I am now in safe mode. I cant change the resolution for Nvida in safe mode. What can I do to fix the problem?

Try either System Restore when you select Safe Mode, or try the listed option, "Last known good configuration".

I tried that. I also rolled back the Nviad driver in safe mode. It booted up , but, when I went back to update the driver , the screen went black again, with unsupported mode message.
The only other thing I can think of is to alter the updated driver in the registry. But I have no clue as to how to do this.
I'm open to suggestions...Please.
Thanks
