I have a Samsung plasma PN51D7000FFXZA. Last night, after less than three years of use, a sharp black horizontal line popped up dead center of my screen. After speaking with Samsung service reps, the cost of the repair will nearly equal the price I paid for the tv ($1300). I loved this tv, but am sorely disappointed that something I spent this much on failed so soon (the wireless internet actually failed years ago, but I didn't mind). I understand that I am well out of warranty and do not expect a new set or a free repair, but I would have appreciated anything from Samsung to indicate even their slightest effort to keep a customer happy. Needless to say I don't intend on ever buying a Samsung product again and would recommend the same to others. The tv was beautiful while it lasted but for the price, it didn't last nearly long enough.
