I'm not going to give you a specific set, but I'll give you a link to all the best deals out there and some useful info:
Be aware that a lot of retailers are getting rid of "older" style LCD/LED TV's that have a 60hz refresh rate. Better sets now have a refresh rate of 120hz or even 240hz (120hz is fine). A faster refresh rate such as 120hz will make for less picture blurring when there's a lot of moving action on the screen, like sports. So try to get a set (if LCD/LED) that has a 120hz refresh rate or higher.
More HDMI inputs are better. I would get a set that has at least 3 HDMI inputs. (And don't get suckered in buying store's HDMI cables at ridiculous prices. HDMI cables can be bought online for less than $10 a cable, whereas stores like Best Buy want to charge exorbitant and frankly outrageous prices for them. http://monoprice.com is a great place for cables, cheap. There are others, too.
Try to find reviews for any set you find on sale. Price compare, too.
I'm still a fan of Plasma sets over LCD/LED. Plasmas just have better picture quality, in my opinion, although they do use more electricity. But they are normally cheaper for the same size range as a comparable LCD/LED. Refresh rates on plasmas don't apply to what I said above. You'll see them talking about "600hz refresh", but it's something totally different. Pay no attention to refresh rates on Plasmas.
Here's a good link from DealNews.com for all the Black Friday HDTV sales:

Good luck.
Be aware, too, that Amazon.com will probably do what they did last year by real-time price-matching what walmart and other stores have on sale, so it might save you a trip to the store.
