Resolved Question

Birthday-Calendar is missing after synchronizing my iPod

Mar 6, 2012 5:48AM PST

Sychronizing my iPod Touch (SW-Version 3.1.3) with iCal (V. 5.0.2) (iMac, OS Lion 10.7.3) via iTunes following happened:

All calendars were synchronized, but the Birthday-Calendar was not.

I reinstalled the Software of my iPod Touch and synchronized again, but the Birthday-Calendar kept away.

Anyone out there having an idea, what can be done?

the birthday on the calendar gets synced from your contacts. I suggest you check your contacts to see if the birthdays are recorded correctly in the appropriate contacts

Did you check your calendars on the iPod to see that your birthdays have a check next to it ?

I'm sorry I didn't read your original post correctly.. 3.1.3 sounds so far that I can't quite remember but what I was saying was to check calendar app on the iPod and see if there is a calendar button on top left. If you click that it should show option to show birthdays.. or is that feature not included in 3.1.3 ? Sorry if my answer didn't help..

An actual OS will solve my problem!

hello pinkzroxor,
the feature you've meant is not included in 3.1.3, which means to buy a brand new iPod Touch, so I shall see the birthdays on it Wink)
Thank you for your proposals

I had no idea older versions of iOS devices don't have that feature cuz I never cared about those features back then lol.
