Question

BIOS NOT INSTALLED

Aug 20, 2016 3:29PM PDT

Hello, well I better give you my computer's hardware info before I state the problem:
Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
RAM
6,00GB Triple-Channel DDR3 @ 534MHz (8-8-8-20)
Motherboard
Foxconn BLOODRAGE (Socket 1366)
Graphics
1024MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285
Storage
1863GB Western Digital WDC WD20EARX-008FB0 ATA Device (SATA)
111GB OCZ-AGILITY3 ATA Device (SSD)

And now the problem, I had a high temperature issue for almost a day a my computer was on and off all the time until I fixed it (but quality cpu paste) so when I finally open my computer again I get a message BIOS NOT INSTALLED. And now the strange part. If I press delete I can enter BIOS setup but if I press F1 my computer boots normally into windows, but I don't get another boot. Only one. which means I can't restart or anything. If I try to restart I only get a black screen and nothing happens though I can hear my computer working. I have to cut the power supply and remove the battery for a few minutes, then I can open my computer again for once.
And my question is, what's wrong and how can I fix this? :/

Answer
Look at your motherboard for options like

I saw this years ago if the motherboard or a card had a drive array (RAID or other) and it would emit that message. It's not anything to fret about. Strictly informational.

You can google that message to read other priors.

As to the boot issue, the 285 was not know to tap the PSU lightly. The parts look dated. That is, they could be getting old and start to have boot issues. I'd start with a bigger PSU, consider a new GPU and motherboard.

I googled everything I could think

I googled everything I could think and I saw many different answers, tried most of them but either my BIOS didn't have that option or it was already set the way they were proposing. And unfortunately buying a new one isn't something I can afford right now and since it is working properly after I boot, it looks really a waste to me, I am using this computer now to reply, I also tried some "heavy" programs and everything runs smoothly so I really want to find a solution to this.

I don't own your board or setup.

So I can't walk you through what could remove the bios message.

The gear is old enough that I see them begin to have boot issues. There are some clients that want the boot issue to be a setting. You can't help them.
