I have to dig deep to identify the mainboard and search for the latest BIOS. HOWEVER the issue you note is usually due to either the overheating chips in the laptop or the chips failing. Since you have a warranty it's time to call it in and have them change the mainboard one more time.
Just sharing that when the mainboard has been changed like that I use both Everest and Belarc Advisor to sniff out which board it is.

Well apparently when they installed my new motherboard they did something wrong and my computer's bios reads lattitude 810 version a02 (I talked to one of the tech guys over the phone and they use the same motherboard for multiple latptops).
Anyway you can see how this would cause me problems (mainly video card issues), Ive downloaded the new bios but it wont let me run it or /forcetype it says NOTICE!! Running on an unsupported system.
Occasionally I'll be able to boot up just fine but I cant run any games or anything that stresses the video card, and sometimes when i boot up it will be a mess of colors and lines and ill barely be able to see anything, and those times i cant even load into normal mode.
I dont have a floppy disk drive, i do have a cd burner and flash drive, is there anyway for me to get this bios to run?
Windows xp pro btw.
