Bios???

Feb 9, 2004 3:54AM PST

On my pc I repeatedly hit delete to get to my BIOS settings. I'm trying to help a friend fix a problem I posted earlier. He also has WindowsMe but when he does it he gets his startup screen. Does anyone know another way in?
Thanks

It's a Gateway running OS Me but I'm not sure of the model.3000 maybe? I believe it's 3 years old. The owner has been unavailable. He's trying to reinstall the OS due to (registry/configuration/error) I mentioned in an earlier post. When he puts the restoration disc in the restore options do appear for 3 seconds then tries to boot. I figure if he can change the bios settings to boot from the disc drive only it may work. It's a nightmare when the PC is 3 hours away.
Thanks again
