BIG PROBLEM of RAM that I can't understand...

Hello everyone that will be reading this,

My build:
- Ryzen 5 1500x
- EVGA GTX 1060
- Asrock AB350M Micro-ATX motherboard
- 2x4 Gb of Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666 MHz
...

I am having trouble with my RAM... When I put one stick in it says 4 Gb of RAM, when I put the other stick it says 4GB of RAM, but when I put both it says 8GB installed (3.93 usable). Could one of the motherboard ram slots be unusable? Or is it the RAM that is incompatible with the motherboard?

I've seen that for a few reasons.

In reply to: BIG PROBLEM of RAM that I can't understand...

1. A 32 bit OS.
2. The BIOS is not current. On Ryzen builds, for now, you can not avoid or dismiss the BIOS updates.
3. The memory wasn't on the motherboard support list.

I'd work this from 1 to 3.
