Hello so I just recently got a Lenovo Ideapad 320 with the 8th gen Core i5-8250u and an nvidia GeForce MX150. While the specs are good the display is very bad. Viewing angles are poor and color reproduction is nowhere near accurate. I can't return it anymore so instead I'm just looking into upgrading the display.
There are several compatible panels from lenovo as found here but I'm not sure if they're of better quality than the one I already have. From what I can tell after some searching this would be its replacement display and here's a video on how to replace it.
After a little more digging I think I've found my display. Looking at Generic PnP Monitor Properties and choosing hardware Ids gives me AUO38ED. I think it's this one.
So I was wondering what's a good display panel to replace the built-in one? One that's FHD, 15.6", color accurate, has good viewing angles and just plain better than the one I already have. I'm seeing stuff about 72% NTSC and that a good IPS panel will be miles better than the TN panel I seem to have but I'm not quite sure what to make of that or whether or not the quality bump is as big as it sounds. Any help and insight would be appreciated.
