Best Web Sites?

I need an adapter lead cable to connect my PC to my TV. Where are the best sellers on-line?(I live outside of the U.S., so I'll have to have it sent to a friend to mail it to me).

I see the problem.

There is no such cable. Or at least one that works for all PCs to all TVs. You'll have to research this deeply to find the cable for your PC and TV!

Really?

This won't work?

How would you know?

Look at the detail you provided. The answer must be no or "unlikely."

That depends heavily ...

on what the PC is sending to the USB-slot. If it thinks it's a printer or a mouse you wouldn't like to look at the screen, I suppose, even if the TV has inputs for the 3 RCA-side of the cable.

So I hope your 'someone' was smart enough to buy the software that came with the cable (let's say: the 'driver') also.

Did you try already?

I have a Toshiba Satellite Notebook PC and would like to see live (or taped) football games on my LG 29" TV. What do you need to know and what do I need to buy to get it?

There are many types of Satellite and many LG TV's.

So let me say: a HDMI-cable, provided both your laptop and your TV have a HDMI connection. If not, please tell what kind of (video, audio) outputs are available on your laptop and what kind of inputs are available on your TV. The manuals surely tell.
