Best Web Host for small business and multiple domains

I know this has been asked before, but I've searched many web sites and reviews and I'm still confused. So, I've narrowed it down to Hostmonster, Bluehost, and Lunarpages. I'm a pretty technical guy, but I'm looking for a reliable web host for multiple domains that some will use databases. I'm not so concerned about a "simple" web site creator, as opposed to one that follows the HTML & CSS standards. I was going to go with 1&1 after seeing their huge ads in PC Magazine until I read the reviews. Thus, I'm not so concerned about cheap, just a service that is reliable, professional, and popular. In other words, what service would a developer recommend and use?

Just sharing a story.

One of my family works for a small business and got "hung up" on just such a question. Said company is still looking for an answer to this question. The sad truth is that their competition is online and going now for 5 years while they fall for this trap of "best" as well as listen to "web site experts."

Godaddy could have had their site up in 30 days (actually 7) and here they stand with the same question, 5 years and 5 figures spent.

Don't fall for this trap.

Great choices

All three are great hosts that fit the requirements that you mentioned below. Just pick one of them like Bob said and you'll be happy. If it helps you to narrow it down, Lunarpages has a coupon code: Save27 to get 27 dollars off. HostMonster and Bluehost are owned by the same company so either one you pick your all set. Best of luck!

Another one found...

After several days of searching and reading reviews, I have found that HostGator ranks pretty high. I may go with this one after all.

Reliability and support are most important

I always go with web hosting providers that do not followthe big numbers and can persuade a customer that their service would work good for them. I know many web host from my blogging with and I can guarantee the most popualar shared hosts are not the best ones at all.

Jun 27, 2007 2:20AM PDT

I have been reading for weeks for a webhost to transfer my sites to which i have 5, only one is developed so far but im with bluehost now and they're awesome but i have a couple of my sites are adult oriented so i need to switch them and the list is exhausting and most paid for in my opinion so can anyone suggest a good place to go for me? i dont need a massive amount of space as none will be to large.

i'd like a cpanel and other than that i think good support as well.

please and thank you

Hostican, Lunarpages and HostGator all allow it so long as your site complies with US law.
