Good question

But not one review noted this. So I'll share the usual finding.

Change the audio setting to STEREO. Many find that helps.

I tried everything

Thanks, I had the Yamaha YAS 203 and I did switch back in forth from stereo and I was disappointed, boxed it up and sent it back .I am going to try this one when it hits the shelves. https://youtu.be/cwYu5MK9tuk

To me I can't see how that would help.

The voice clarity issue is very well done. The problem starts at the studios that have so much they want to pack into the audio that voices are lost.

I bought a new HDTV in 2016 and made sure it had a headphone jack and the volume on that jack could be controlled with the remote. This paid off in I was assured of the stereo output that we know works better for voice. I added a pair of nice bookshelf speakers and I was done.

If I can't hear the voices, the issue is at the source not my gear.

Going for the gusto.....

Thanks, I'm now looking at a 5.1 full surround sound system, It's a lot more $ but I think I'll enjoy it much more.

Answer
Better Voice clarity from a Sound Bar

I read that the best soundbar for voice clarity is the ZVOX Accuvoice 200, or similar model from ZVOX. This sells for about $199-250 max at stores. I'm going to purchase one tomorrow if the local Best Buy has it in stock, and give it a try. The stores seem to sell the soundbars that are expensive and add booming sounds and surround sound, but the voice quality is poor. I have a hard time hearing the speech on tv and movies, so this may be the answer. ZVOX claims to use the same technology in hearing aids that lift voice frequencies out of surrounding noise.

Zvox=junk, overpriced
