pesonally use either VLC or Mirillis Splash. Both pretty cool. Splash is easy and convenient, VLC is advanced and high-end
The TS files can be easily found from HD camcorders such as Panasonic, Canon, Sony and more, Blu-ray DVD and normal dvd satellite decoders and more. TS files has poor compatibility with most of media players, portable devices and video editing tools. By far, the default software to play TS video is VLC media player. What's more, the TS files on decoders are usually strictly encrypted while that on DVD are not encrypted in the real sense of the world.
