Re: software

On a Mac, on Linux, on Windows, on iOS, on Android, on a Blackberry phone? Might make a difference.

And ...

Just a random hit of a google search for PROFESSIONAL VIDEO EDITING SOFTWARE:

I'd say: have a look at the other hits, then choose a few to try what's best for your line of business. But you might have to look further if your purpose is to make a movie comparable to The Lord of the Rings trilogy or a movie like that.

Best video editing software

If you want my suggestion, then I would vote for Video Converter Ultimate. It could be the best video editing program over these years which features several key features:
1. Support Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP
2. Convert videos/audio between any formats including HD, 2K, MP4, AVI, MOV, M4V, MP3, FLAC, etc.
3. Edit videos/audio with basic features: crop, trim, merge and more
4. Download videos from online websites like YouTube, Facebook, NicoVideo, etc.
5. Burn videos to ISO files, DVD discs or DVD folders
6. Wirelessly transfer converted and downloaded videos to mobile devices or TV

Another great video editing software is Video Editor created by Filmora.
1. Support Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP
2. Powerful yet simple editing tools: trim, crop, merge, rotate, adjust, etc.
3. A bunch of amazing effects: transitions, overlays, credit/inro, background music, etc.
4. Advanced option: scene detection, close-up, PIP, etc.
5. Upload and share videos to Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and more
6. Offer two editing modes for both home use and professional use
