PhotoDirector needs to be listed here, and ACDsee, and RAWtherapee, DarkTable and Aftershot Pro and Capture One. These are all excellent software to consider, some even run on Linux. A combo of Affinity + PhotoDirector is brilliant, along with Nik software.

If you want to take it as a profession or seriously you need high quality the Photoshop is preferred. But if you want to edit your personal photos you can go for applications that are available in playstore. Photoshop editing requires to download software and need to invest time to learn the things.

Use illustrator for vector-based designs
by mftheory / August 23, 2016 8:19 AM PDT

If you do not want to worry about pixelation when scaling graphics (does not apply to images) then use Illustrator. Inkscape would be the free open-source program you may use. Gimp is the photoshop-related free open-source program.

Tools for Photo Editing & Graphic Design
by Johnmooree / October 6, 2016 1:42 AM PDT

Adobe Photoshop is a great photo editing and graphic design tool. The Adobe Photoshop family of products gives you everything you need to bring out the best in your digital images, transform them into anything you can imagine and showcase them in extraordinary ways. There are numerous online tools which help in photo editing and one of them is Freeonlinephotoeditor in which you can resize, change file format like .png to .jpg etc.
Next is Pixlr, a free online image editor allows you to edit your photos with over 600 overlays, effects and borders. It’s available as an application on iOS and Android.
Canva is also an outstanding tool for Design presentations, social media graphics and more with thousands of beautiful layouts. Canva is great for simple projects that give your social media posts a creative boost. As with any free tool, the options are limited if you’re creating a large number of graphics or you need them to be highly customized.

Canvas for sure
by aksritz / December 14, 2016 5:26 AM PST

Are you stuck editing your photos? Don't know where to go? This reply covers it all.

I have used Canvas for years, and it has worked every single time. It enhances photos with such a beauty that you can't resist.

I have used Canvas on all my websites and it lures in the visitors just like a charm.

The best example is my blog The Science Station (bgbasicscience.blogspot.com). Every single time I share a post on Facebook it gets more views for a Canvas edited image than a simple image.
Hope that helped.

If you are going to edit it professionally and need to edit high quality then you have to need the photoshop CC version. Also, you can try Corel Draw, even though I don't have more idea about Corel Draw. I heard somewhere about Corel Draw, I can't remember them. Thanks.
