Google's Picasa is much used. So is Microsofts Skydrive.
It's up to you to find out which one you like most.

I used to use Picasa

But even after one of the latest updates, I found that photo edits were reverting back to pre-edit look, and then entire, ENTIRE folders, of years of family shots, were merely disappearing from the files. Granted, I had only saved them in Picasa, and not moved them into web albums. But it was HUGELY frustrating, and I spent many hours trying to figure out where they'd gone. I had spend hundred of hours editing photos of family and weddings, etc., and it was all either reversed or gone entirely. I've switched entirely over to IrfanView which has more capabilities anyway.

The OP was interested in showing on the web. Your experiences were on your local PC only, so not really relevant.

And, once again and alas, your experiences show what can happen to data if you don't make a backup of files you don't want to lose. Even during that hundreds of hours of work a daily or weekly backup to any medium would be advised by anybody here.

Doh!

Actually my bad on this. I having trouble with a fire wall and it submitted early. I had a better explanation in the details section. Here what it should have said:

I have a 1 year old child that I take a lot of pictures because I'm a crazy parent. I also have a huge family that is around the world and they hound me for pictures. I have a Sony NEX-5 and a Eye Fi Pro X2 card so I can easily send the picture to a site and get them off my camera with no problem. I also have a few relatives with photo picture frames that will take RSS feeds so the pictures go straight to their frames. My issue is what photo sharing/storage site to use?

I am looking for something that dose the albums and has a lot of space for free or real cheep. (I lost my job so money is tight). I also like it as storage back up spot to if possible. I have a local NAS that I have back-ups on. I had my house burn down a few years ago so I am always trying to cover my butt in multiple ways after that. (I now scan all my manuals to PDF as well as important documents and family pictures are slowly getting scanned in.)

So I looking for input on peoples experiences with any of the sites. They all have a similar set ups and options and without having to sign up for all the sites I like to see who likes what and the pros and cons of them. I feel bad this was in the original post and I can't see a way to edit it...
