Best settings for Samsung LE32c530

by Richardce / October 2, 2010 7:53 AM PDT

Hey what are the best picture quality settings for the LE32c530. I have a samsung HT z310 home cinema system which supposedly upscales dvds to 1080p. I would appreciate the help.

Best settings for Samsung LE32c530

Richardce,

First check your output resolution in the HT system, and make sure it's sending a higher resolution (720p or higher). Often times, the resolution may be at 480 by default, and this can help improve the picture quality.

For television settings, you might try checking the HDTV Picture Settings forum, and that can be found here.

Was there something more specific you were looking for?

Better quality downstairs
by Richardce / October 4, 2010 9:09 PM PDT

The family tv downstairs(mine is a bedroom tv) is a samsung LE37r8 (which isn't full HD) and the dvd player downstairs is a sony dvp ns52p (it has no HD upscaling function) which is connected to the tv by scart yet somehow the tv and dvd player put together produce a way better picture then mine upstairs. (Sorry I posted this twice, new here)
