Best reason to use Linux?

Apr 29, 2013 9:02PM PDT

Just to provoke some discussion in here, what does everyone think is the best reason for a person to use Linux?

It could be:
Freedom
Low cost
User-friendliness
Useful features in the desktop
Power-user features
Customisation
Security
or anything more specific!

What do you think is the best reason?

Best is a subjective term. It depends on the person being asked.

What is the best car? What is the best sports team? What is the best religion?

OS Wars appear to be over. It's more about the apps it seems.

on one computer mainly because I'm curious and just really like to play with different systems. But I do use Puppy Linux on a live cd to do my banking and purchasing over the net because I'm told it's hard to hack a live cd. I suppose I do that for the security....Digger

The cost of windows. Any other considerations are secondary to that.
