Rarely matters.

Unlike a PC, phones have certain things they need to do well. For those that want to game on a phone then it's not just the CPU but the GPU so there's no best here. Just a lot of choices.

Did you want CNET's iPhone 6s plus review? It seems to be about the best I've seen to date.

Here, for a base amount for Android

I like to see 1GB RAM. However my LG G4 has 3GB. Why? Because it has a 4K camera so it needs more RAM to deal with the data flow.

-> Did you catch Samsung and soon others offering phones with 256GB storage? One of my predictions is that more folk with eschew a PC for a big phone. My followup prediction is that folk will lose a lot more data this way (the lessons about backup appear to be learned, not taught.)

Yep. My least favorite question starts with, "If I didn't back up can my photos be retrieved?" (Insert frustrated eye roll )

Apples to android
Mar 6, 2016 8:10PM PST

The iPhone iOS is different because it's more efficient. If android had the same level of efficiency it could skate by with 1-2 GB of RAM also.
I wish this different efficiency could be seen in IPhone 6/6s battery life, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I have a iPhone 6 Plus and a Nexus 6p. They are the same physical size. The iPhone battery is only slightly smaller than the 6p, yet the 6p last much longer with the same use. The iPhone 6 will last 2 days tops on standby only, the iPhone 5S will last 4-5 days on standby and so will my 6p.
This isn't a processing or RAM thing. I was expecting the iPhone 6 to do much better with the bigger battery.
I guess the shorter answer would be, "it depends on the operating system"

Processor make your phone smooth and run it quite faster. As far I know Processor has nothing to do with the battery life.
