I prefer dual displays for design work. As to "power", any XP Pro based machine with 512M RAM, a 2+GHz CPU seems to do dandy.

Bunnie Computers also Known as Broad & Market of West Virginia Does not sell what they say....I recieved 2 so called custom built PC's that had DELL Drivers and DELL XP on them.?????????
My computers came with a 4 year warranty....lol 8 months later I have 2 computers that are pieced together with I guess DELL parts and no warranty because they are ping ponging from one business name to another.....EVERYONE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! Also the 1st review was placed by the owner of the company(look4danylogo is the owner of bunnie computers)?? opps I have contact with many Bunnie computer buyers that have the same feelings I do about this situation....AGAIN BEWARE DO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!

Once again I purchased three computers from the company you say you got yours from. My computers were shipped fine. I got it 11mo's ago, and it was very well constructed. I have friends that I reccommended this comapny to, and theirs were fine as well, very fine. As far as i know the company is no longer in business, and the Evolution was the name of a PC they sold not a ping, pong. Anyways..

The really top notch PC's are sold under the classification of "Workstation". They are PC's under the hood, but very few compromises are made to keep price down, they are designed specifically for POWER and Speed. They don't come cheap.

hey you.

Well i think i can help since i upgraded my computer very recently and i am a Graphic/web/interactive designer. First of all, wait till 2005 and buy your PC cuz there's a new chip comming in town made by sony-toshiba-ibm named "the cell" it will kick a-s-s-es but if u reall need one now i proposs the following.

1.Chip:
-----------
- 2.8 HT (hyperThreading) and above. If u use 3D software i won't go below 3.0 MHz HT (2.8HT is what i have) ::

2. RAM
--------
- minimum of 512 MB (if u make billboard ads or big posters u understand what i mean.) - I have 1.5 GB of RAM

3. VGA. (two choices)
----------------------
a. If are limited to photoshop, illustrator, corel applicatioons, director, flash, dreamweaver and image ready, and a very little bit of 3D, u don't need more than 128 MB AGP.
b. if u use 3D software like XSI or Maya or anything similar don't go less than 128MB VGA that support OpenGL. i fit in category two so i bought a 256MB RadeonChip with openGl

4. CD/DVD/Writers
------------------
I have a CD-writer but it is not helping a lot. I ned a DVD writer cuz i use aftereffects and XSI that take alot of hard-disk-space. So if that is ure case u need a DVD writer (each project is minimum 1.5GB - one of them was 9 GB), else a CD-Writer is more than enough.

I guess if u fullfill his u are fine. but i still believe u should wait till 2005
check this link if u are intrested in the Cell Chip:
