Best mp3 for me

Aug 28, 2005 2:35PM PDT

Hey I am thinking about getting and mp3 player for around $200. I want something that is small, holds a lot of songs, and ISN'T AN iPOD. I've been thinking about getting an RCA lyra for $200. It is a 5gb and it says that it can hold 3,400 songs and hold pictures as well. Please post any other information about this mp3 player or any other suggestions for good mp3 players.

Thanks

Hi there! Good morning/afternoon! I recommend getting a iRiver H10. It has a lot of features than the iPod mini, and I say it looks better too. (My own personal opinion)
I am planning to get this mp3 player when I get ma next pay check, it is one of the best mp3 players I've seen. and YES, I have done my research. Grin

iRiver H10:
Many Features such as
-Colour Screen <----A BIG PLUS
-FM Radio (when you get bored to listening to your own music)
-Radio Recording
-Voice Recording
-etc.
Avaiblable in Colour RED (my Favourite Colour)
Removable Battery
Better Quality Sound than the iPod

I agree. The Iriver players are supposed to be remarkably durable and of excellent quality. If you search around the forums, you'll see many posts recommending it. I would also suggest going to websites like dapreview.net, as they tend to cover non-mainstream mp3 players also. You might find some useful information there also. Also, if you're willing to go upto $230, the 10Gb Toshiba Gigabeat player is available at newegg.com for about that price.

Hey I think eventually I will be getting Yahoo music but for now I am going to be downloading my music form eDonkey2000. Will the Gigabeat play music downloaded from there or do you have to be with a subscription music source like Napster.

Thanks
