Best mini dv under $350?

Aug 9, 2006 9:13AM PDT

I'm looking for a mini dv that's good in low light. Want to make DVDs of a squirming 2 year-old to send to the grandparents. Don't need to take stills - we have a fine still camera. I'd like something that's bundled with software, unless after market stuff is better (?). We have a Canon Powershot and i9900 printer so maybe Canon would be compatable with some of the software we already have. Considering Canon's ZR500, ZR600, Elura80; Panasonic PV-GS39, PV-GS59; JVC GR-D370, GR-D395, GR-650US; Sony DCR-HC32, DCR-HC26 DCR-HC36; Samsung SC-D365 and SC-D363. There are lots of "comparable" cameras out there and any info from people who have bought any of these and their reasons why would be greatly appreciated.
