Best mid-range phone camera

Hi folks,

My Galaxy S7 broke recently and I'm looking for a new phone. My priority is camera quality and I'm looking for something that will at least match if not surpass the S7 in this aspect. Any recommendations? I'm in the UK, looking for something <£500. E.g. Oneplus5, Xiaomi mi6, HTC u11.

But my concern was that its a year older than the similarly-priced ones I listed before and would age quicker. I'm basically after people's thoughts on how they hold up to the S7 or if its worth just re-buying it again.
