I don't think any laptop now comes with a CD-drive. But there are many that have a DVD-drive that can play CD's also. Does that meet your requirement?

I see no specific search option for "optical drive" in our laptop review section on https://www.cnet.com/topics/laptops/products/ so you might need to do some searching yourself. Did you already visit a brich-and-mortar shop that sells laptops to look around? Sometimes that's easier than searching on the web.

Note that some people prefer a lighter laptop and connect an external optical drive the few times they need it. But that's up to you.

Most are now with DVDRW drives, a few with Blu_Ray but to get one with just CD would be rare to non-existent.

That said, I use optical media so rarely that I won't miss this drive. And if I do need it, I can pull out my 20 buck USB DVDRW drive.

The heading line says "Gaming laptops". That's needlessly restricted, since the OP only asked on a "laptop with good performance [and] an optical drive. Nothing indicates he wants it to be a gaming laptop.
