That the domain of desktops that you can swap out the video card and other parts.
To play 4K content is going to be rough as the GPU power can be very high. To be sure it will work, look at Nvidia 1070 and higher equipped laptops.
For me I'm going to stick to 1080p streams and let the TV upscale for now.
And yes I own the Amazon 4K Fire TV box. Quite a bargain at about 99 bucks. It has Netflix and more.
Hi, I am wanting to get recommendations on the best laptops to stream 4k content and use the xbox one feature of streaming xbox games to the laptop to play. And use the xbox play anywhere games on it. I'm just a casual gamer every now and then.
My current laptop an HP DV6 which is about 5yrs old only has win7 and can't upgrade to win 10. Also doesn't really handle 4k content very well. As for gaming can't even play most older games without overheating. Is it best to wait for the AMD Ryzen laptops due later this year. I Want to future proof my next laptop.
Thanks
Daniel
