Any laptop that has 8 GB of RAM, at least 256 GB of storage and a decent processor that comes with Windows 10, Linux or Mac OS will do. An SSD in stead of a HDD is a nice feature to have.

You can do it with any laptop that have minimum 6 GB of RAM, minimum 256 GB of Storage and minimum core i5 4rd generation processor. This type of laptop can do everything for you in programming. I'm also using a laptop with these same specifications.

I am no problem with the SSD which is needed, yet, I’ve heard that Ram is really matter when we use R programming, is that right? I am also trying to figure out what is the best laptop for the programming. Any suggestion is OK, thanks!
