Resolved Question

Best iPhone 5s carrier?

May 28, 2014 4:59AM PDT

Hey guys, it's my first time posting on here. Was wondering what's the cheapest iPhone 5s carrier out there? (I also need to buy an iPhone up front). I'd like unlimited data/text/calls but can be very flexible on the text and calls.

Right now I'm leaning towards Ting, where you can configure your own plan based on your needs. It's $40/month, no contract (woo!) and the phone would be $260. Any other suggestions? Thanks so much!

Thanks Digger! Appreciate that info. Crazy low usage though I think I'll be texting a bit more and using more minutes, that's why I figure my bill would be around $40. I'm guessing I could edge it down a bit, though

I kept the low package

and if I go over it's just a $3 jump, Ting works with ya. I would'nt care if I went over by $20 this month , next month it would be back down.
Beats $96 a month I was paying every month for the same service with Verizon.

I thought Ting could be less than 40 a month.

Look up itsdigger on these forums. He has Ting. My son is about to switch.

In closing it can't possibly be the best carrier by definition, that is. Good?

Thanks Bob! I've heard good things about Republic Wireless but they only carry Moto X and Moto G, not the iPhone. I'll probably go with Ting

I thought t-Mobile was a least expensive option. You can by a new iPhone 5S on a secondary market for $620 (see my profile). Data-service (LTE-4G) is very important now days. I realized that when I was outside of t-Mobile coverage area and was hit by 10MB - data roaming limit!
