So I have a "new" PC (HP 8000 Elite E8400), and it only has room for 1 3.5" hard drive (which I failed to inquire about), but I'm thinking of installing a 2.5" 1TB drive into the floppy bay (with an adapter of course) and then a 4TB drive in the 3.5" bay to be used for backup files.
What do you think? What is your setup? What do you recommend?
My alternative is having just the 3.5" drive but if I'm putting Windows 7 on it plus temporary movies, TV shows, music, and music videos on it, I'm not sure what size would be adequate. I have a 320GB installed with 120GB remaining, and I consider myself low-usage. Is it better to have a smaller drive for the OS and a bigger one for content?
