doing research myself

I would love some feedback on this subject myself. I am starting my business on line and have a friend doing the same. She is leaning toward yahoo with the sight building program etc. I am thinking about a local place but leaning toward hostway. I do not understand all the elements involved but found http://www.hostindex.com/ for what is is worth. know where I can find anyone to ck and consult on web building in dreamweaver for free? Happy
