Question

Best Home Security Camera System for my requirements?

Here goes:

My dad wants me to set up a home camera system at his house for when he is away at his Florida house.
He is by NO MEANS a tech guy. One of those people who has an iPhone but doesn't download a single app.

So I need something super reliable once I set it up.
I'm willing to pay top dollar for the best that I can get.
I have him setup on a high speed wireless connection.

I would like something that is power wired (with a possible battery back up).

I want something that he can access through his iPhone with an app to view live feed / or go online and view the live feed.

I need a camera that can be setup outside (though it wont be exposed to too much elements because its under a covered deck).

I do NOT want to pay monthly for storage.

Motion detection and night vision would be nice as well.

Can you guys please give me some suggestions that will fit my requirements? I will be needing around 3-4 cameras (1 or 2 inside and 1 or 2 outside).

Get more than one WiFi hotspot or

Use the 5GHz WiFi channel of your router. We can add a second WAP or "router as a WAP" just for these WiFi CCTV systems.

Sorry but that's a lot to soak in.

Wireless IP camera with night vision..

Why don’t you try the Outdoor wireless IP camera with night vision. I’m not sure about its cost. I’m going to buy it from Canadian security professionals in my locality (Toronto) and let you know about its cost and functionality. I have heard that it can be connected with our smartphones and all the notifications are sent to the phones.
