Best HDMI Cable?

What 6' HDMI cable is best to hook-up my Blu-Ray player (Sony BDP-S350) to my Bravia 32XBR6? I need something that is pretty much guaranteed to last for a couple of years, because im going to get it phished through the wall.

Re: HDMI-cable

It's digital, so there is no difference in quality, in principle, between different cables. No noise, just 0 and 1 that are being sent and received. And when they work, they keep working. No mechanical wear, no electronics inside.

So it doesn't really matter.

and get their in-wall HDMI cable.

It works just as well as any expensive HDMI cable (I use it), is made well, is highly recommended by CNET/professionals/users, and is very cheap.

I have purchased several 6' v1.3 HDMI cables from them for around $11 each (v1.3 may not be necessary but it costs $1 more, so what the hell?).

I do not have an in-wall setup, but I bought the in-wall cables anyway, because they are more sturdy, and again the price difference was no more than $2.

I believe that they are located in NJ and since I am in NY, I got them the next day via ground shipping. Depending on where you live it could take longer obviously, but they process orders and ship the same day depending on the time the order was placed.

You will not regret buying them and they will not hurt your wallet either.

Good luck

I live in CA, next day = 1$ extra, coming from Rancho Cucamonga, IIRC.

In reply to: Best HDMI Cable?

These high priced cables are a crime - I saw one at Staples today for $54. I bought one for $3 from amazon.com and it works fine. This is what you get when the corporations are allowed laissez faire, let the buyer beware. I'm glad we have these forums, but they don't reach enough people.
