Best Gaming Laptop for under $1200.

Hello. This is my first time posting on Cnet, and as the title states above, I'm looking for the best gaming laptop I can get for the money. The thing is though, I will be taking this laptop to college, and using it to type notes on. So right now, I'm just considering 15inch laptops. I'm honestly looking for something around $999, but for the sake to consider more options, I'll put a max of $1200. Thanks.

Remember it's usually a contradiction to use the term best and cheapest in the same sentence. Only because you usually get what you pay for with computers.
